AS IT SHOWS is a contribution by the Essen based art space KOP.12, as part of the exhibition EVERY BODY HERE. The works of the three participating artists focus on the interaction between content and the medium of photography, exploring the tension between two-dimensional representation and physical presence. Together, they examine how materiality manifests in photographs and how the physical characteristics of the image carriers influence the content of the images.
