BELOW SURFACE in Bunker K101 brings together three photographic approaches that shed light on hidden facets: Celia Joy Homann depicts on Cairo's Qursaya island in the Nile female solidarity and empowerment in the context of sustainable project work. Jasmin Löffler explores everyday rural life in Romania, in which penurious circumstances bring out unbounded joy in living. Enhao Zhang's coarse- grained black-and-white shots blend bodies, gender and surreal moments into intimate encounters.
