Exhibition Festival Vernissage & Special Event

The prominent Dutch photographer Maarten Corbijn, Corbino for short, exhibits – for the first time – a retrospective of his unique and highly expressive black-and-white portraits. He is a master of focusing on the essential. Light and dark, a virtuoso recording technique, and richly varied composition characterize his photographs. These latter draw their immense force from the photographer’s astonishing ability to produce a spontaneous connection to other people.
