Adelheid Komenda is Scientific referent for the photography department at the LVR-LandesMuseum Bonn. Studied art history, Slavic studies and Eastern European history. From 2000 to 2006 expert for photography at Kunsthaus Lempertz, Cologne, then self-employed; among other things, responsibility of projects such as OPEN SPACE at Art Cologne (until 2010). From 2011 to 2021 deputy managing director of the Gesellschaft für Moderne Kunst at Museum Ludwig, Cologne. Exhibitions and publications on Hermann Claasen, Liselotte Strelow, Hugo Erfurth, photography of the Weimar Republic and German photography around 1980, among others. Memberships: Deutscher Verband für Kunstgeschichte e.V., ICOM, Gesellschaft Photo Archiv e.V. (treasurer); DGPh e.V. (member of the executive board).
The Jury
The submitted works were reviewed by the jury and selected for a group exhibition at the Photoszene Festival, which will take place from 12 May to 11 June 2023 in the rooms of the Michael Horbach Foundation.
