    Seventy-three years have passed since the German-Argentine photographer Annemarie Heinrich presented her photographs at the Photokina Köln. We exhibit a selection from the oeuvre of Buenos Aires’ probably most in-demand celebrity photographer (dating from 1925–1987). Her portrait photography, invariably realized in the studio using the most elaborate backgrounds, helped South America’s traditional commissioned photography to forge the link to the European modern era.
