For the first time, the rediscovered photographic works of Cologne photographer Eugen Coubillier (1873–1947) are being showcased in a comprehensive solo exhibition. Coubillier played a significant role in shaping the photographic history of the city. He was a highly successful portrait and architectural photographer, with clients including the City of Cologne, Konrad Adenauer, and even the Archbishop. The exhibition accompanies the new photo book EUGEN COUBILLIER. PHOTOGRAPHER OF COLOGNE 1906 –1943, published by Greven Verlag.
