The artist Seren Dipity uses surreal body collages to explore the human body. With a queer-feminist gaze she queries beauty ideals, gender roles and societal norms and makes hidden conflicts visible. Raw and provocative, her art breaks with idealized portrait photography. By means of deconstruction and reordering she liberates the body from accustomed meanings and transforms it into a living canvas for new perspectives onto bodies and identity.
