With its clear view of everyday life in urban spaces, street photography in the 1940s broke with traditional photographic approaches. Instead of staged poses, the aim was to capture that fleeting moment in which light, composition and event merge into a meaningful story. The presentation shows photographs by three American protagonists of street photography: Lee Friedlander, Garry Winogrand and Joseph Rodríguez.
