For 50 years, Anna E. Stärk has been moving with her camera through streets across the world, and everywhere she goes, she encounters who place their trust in her when she photographs them, even unasked. Affectionately and respectfully approaching an unposed situation, she takes portraits of people in the public space and thus documents current events. Her predominantly analogue works and also the more recent digital shots are not post-edited.
