In the exhibition 'Strategic Fit', Alex Grein and Jan Hoeft address the reframing of photographic references. To do so, Alex Grein uses photographic material from a permanent collection. She playfully conveys this into the present day on displays and objects, to form new semantic levels. Jan Hoeft, by contrast, uses commercial material for his images. He combines them with an inscrutable system made up of hoses, which penetrates the images at neuralgic points.
