MOVING THE (UN)KNOWN)

Between lectures, talks, and discussions, Beatrice Cordier, Mathi Guntiñas, and Sebastian Ritter Choquehuanca invite you to move and engage physically with the conference’s themes.

"Moving the (Un)known" opens up spaces in which the body takes center stage as both a vessel and a resource for knowledge and ignorance. Through brief, guided movement exercises, (un)knowledge is not only contemplated but also experienced. This allows participants to explore how the conference’s themes resonate within the body and how movement can shift one’s perspective on them.

The sessions provide space to pause, observe, and process—both individually and together with others. There is no right or wrong way to participate: Everyone decides for themselves how and to what extent they would like to take part.

The sessions take place both indoors and outdoors. No prior dance experience is required.

Would you like to participate and have questions about accessibility or possible accommodations? Feel free to contact us at info@photoszene.de.

“Moving the (Un)known” is a collaborative project with master’s students in dance education at the Center for Contemporary Dance (ZZT) at the Cologne University of Music and Dance.
