Dr. Adelheid Komenda
Dr. Adelheid Komenda has been a photography curator at the LVR-Landesmuseum Bonn since 2021. She studied art history, Slavic studies, and Eastern European history, specializing in photography. Her exhibition projects have included those on Liselotte Strelow (2008), Bilderstrom (2016/17), photography in the Weimar Republic (2019), Germany around 1980 (2022), Dirk Reinartz (2024), and Jupp Darchinger (2025). She is an active member of the DGPh e.V. and the 89+ Working Group, where her work includes organizing the conference In the Face of Change (Halle/Saale, 2026).
