Karina Nimmerfall

Karina Nimmerfall is a visual artist. Departing from the historicity of places and archives, she blends documentary and speculative approaches to create real-and-imagined constellations of time and space, by interweaving sculptural installations and language with photographic and computer-generated images. She lives and works in Berlin and Cologne, where she serves as a professor of artistic-media practice in the Department of Art and Music at the University of Cologne.
