Tasneem Almamar

Tasneem Almamar is an artist and communication designer from Düsseldorf. In her artistic and theoretical work, she explores issues of identity, migration, experiences of war, and the associated power dynamics and representations. She is currently focusing on the Orienttreff project, in which she is creating a space for people from the Middle East or with a Middle Eastern background—a place for encounter, networking, and, above all, finding one’s place in relation to identity.
