“Under my feet I feel the memory. I sink in deeper and shift my weight.” The photographers of the F5 collective investigate traces of their history and in doing so open up new perspectives onto our present day and remembering. Their works take us to Romania under Ceausescu; into the bark-beetle-damaged Westerwald forest; into the Cold War era; into great-grandfather’s archive and to Benin, in West Africa.
