Vintage Addis Ababa

Exhibition Festival diversity tip Wheelchair accessible

VINTAGE ADDIS ABABA is an archival documentary and art project that collects photos from private ownership in order to narrate stories about the everyday life and past of people in Ethiopia. To this day, in Ethiopia, there are far too few archives to secure and look after documents. Through the provision of old family photos, studio photos, etc., the project’s initiators intend to enable a more intimate and more comprehensive look at this history.
