Thousandfold Photobook Fair

Photo books from independent publishers and self-publishers

FestivalPhotoszene-SpecialsVernissage & Special Event

Thousandfold Photobook Fair is a self-sustaining photobook fair that supports independent photobook publishers and self-published photographers. It collaborates with festivals and initiatives to create cultural programmes around photobooks, connect publishers with their audiences, and bring together lovers of photography and photobooks. Thousandfold Photobook Fair is organized by dienacht e.V. and managed by Calin Kruse (dienacht Publishing / Leipzig Photobook Festival).

This year, the Rautenstrauch-Joest Museum will be the festival centre in the heart of the city, hosting an exhibition by South African artist Lebohang Kganye. On another level of the building, more than 40 international students will show highly topical perspectives of a multi-voiced present in over 40 photo books under the title 'FIRST PAGES' as part of the exhibition series 'Counter Images | Gegenbilder'.

In this environment, more than 25 national and international publishers and artists will present themselves at the Thousandfold Photobook Fair:
