Mit photographischen Techniken. Gesichter und Körper in Szenen

Michael Hooymann exhibits analogue photographic works from the 1980s. Portraits and self-portraits, collaged and mounted in constructed, imagined spatial situations. Via diverse analogue process techniques, such as delamination, solarization, brush development, etc., expressive, occasionally even disturbing-looking visual worlds and portrayals of people arose which invite onlookers to reflect. On display are b/w and colour unique pieces in different formats.
