It´s me | Selbstinszenierung im Tanz

Selbstinszenierung im Tanz

Exhibition Festival Vernissage & Special Event

Uncontained joy in experimentation characterizes this interplay of dance, photography and film. Using motion photography and early dance films, pictorial worlds were created in which dance and modern pictorial techniques were combined. Alongside documentation, (self-) staging was at the focus. Social media widen the possibilities enormously today. But what is real? The exhibition “It’s me” illuminates old and new stagings of the self in the dance image based on the photo and film collection of the Tanzmuseum.
