Bettina Lockemann is an artist and researcher in the field of photography. For five years she was professor for the practice and theory of photography at the HBK Braunschweig. After an apprenticeship as a photographer, she studied artistic photography and media art at the HGB Leipzig and completed her doctorate in art history at the ABK Stuttgart. Numerous exhibitions at home and abroad. In addition to essays on documentary photography and photo books, her publications include Das Fotobuch denken.
