The documentary image is able to expose visions of a possible future. So, later, we will have always seen it coming – or not. The exhibition QUESTION OF TRUST creates an associative space out of photos from the past 20 years. Aspects of public change in countries like Hungary, Ukraine, the USA and Germany are examined along the way: the more charged the image’s temporality, the less it is merely a document of the “now” state.
