During the 2025 Photoszene Festival, the photo book quartet came together in the temporary Photo Pavilion, and this time Frank Dürrach and Damian Zimmermann invited former Deichtorhallen curator Ingo Taubhorn and Folkwang professor Elisabeth Neudörfl as guests.
The first book, Erbgericht by Andrea Grützner, is an intense examination of an important building in her hometown of Polenz, which she has been documenting and staging in an extraordinary way for more than ten years. Her photographic collages of space and materials do not show the nostalgic, romanticized view of a homecomer, but rather almost surreal labyrinthine landscapes in which the viewer quickly loses their bearings.
