The Fotobuch-Quartett was a guest at the Literaturhaus Köln for the first time and this time, alongside Frank Dürrach and Damian Zimmermann, photo book coach and consultant Alexa Becker and Markus Schaden from the Photobookmuseum discussed four current titles.
In the third episode, Damian Zimmermann presents the book "Ohne Vorstellung" by Heinz Neumärker. He spent five decades photographing circuses that performed in the Rhineland. His son Carsten Neumärker has edited this book from the huge archive of 200,000 photos and shows how the circus came to the gray post-war city of West Germany.
